The Lady Lions were not going to let the Old Lady Lions come out of this game with a victory. They were determined to keep them winless as they went out on a 12-7 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. At halftime, however, they sported only a 1-point lead (18-17). In the 3rd quarter, the old Lady Lions gained 14 points while limiting the younger Lady Lions to a mere 7 points, giving the Alumnae a 31-25. They then coasted to their first victory ever in the history of WPSD, winning this once, 41-38. Andrea Aquilino led the Lady Lions with 14 points and Marisa Mills added 13. For the older Lady Lions, there was much more balanced scoring among five players. Danielle Graybill (8 pts), Amanda Kovacs (6 pts), Kristin Macgill (9), Nellie Noschese (11 pts), and Tracey Tasselli (7 pts) did all of the scoring damage.
