LEWISBURG – JoAnne Denius, 54, of Lewisburg and formerly of McKeesport, WPSD Class of 1974 passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009, at her home.
She was born Dec. 17, 1954, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Albert R. Sr. and Elizabeth (Sweet) Saunders.
She is survived by her husband, John; one brother and sister-in-law, Albert R. Jr. and Marlene Saunders of Pittsburgh; one nephew, Dennis Saunders; one great-nephew, Dominic Saunders; and an aunt, uncle and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Martin de Porres Church. Burial will follow the service.
