Carol J. Cross of 325 Columbia St., Sharon. She passed away at 1:42 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. She was 67.
Mrs. Cross was born Sept. 6, 1943, in Glen Hope, Pa., a daughter of Eldon and Mabel McGarvey Young.
Carol was a graduate of Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.
She was employed for a few years at Wintronics Inc., Sharon, where she assembled circuit boards.
Carol was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Sharon. She loved to travel. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Cross, whom she married Aug. 22, 1964; a son, Donald Cross and his wife Amy McLoud, Sharon; a brother, Gilbert Dillen, Englewood, Fla.; and grandson, Romie Cross, Sharon.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wilbert Dillen.
