JOHNSTOWN — KOT – Stanley C., 66, Johnstown, died May 28, 2011, at Laurelwood Care Center. Born March 31, 1945, in Johnstown, son of Frank J. and Sophie (Toma) Kot. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Bernard and Leo; sisters, Jeanie, Theresa and Julie; and brother, John. Survived by wife of 35 years, Barbara Ann (Jones) Kot; daughters, Jill, married to Daniel Mahr, and Paula Kot, all of Johnstown; brothers and sisters, Edward, married to Vilma, Costa Rica; Frances Angeloff, married to George, Akron Ohio; Joseph, Delaware; and Ted, and fiancée, Elaine Boylan, Johnstown; and grandchildren, Cheyenne and Austin Reed, Dellano Mahr and Ethan Kot. He was a member of Westmont Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He had a great love for motorcycles, wrestling, the Steelers and tinkering on things. He was formerly employed at Mercy Hospital.
