Dylan David Zurawski, 15, of Cranberry Twp., passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
Born December 11, 2001 in Bala Cynwyd, he was the adored son of David and Joy Ann (Zushin) Zurawski.

Dylan attended the Western PA School for the Deaf (WPSD) where he made many friends. He had plans to attend Gallaudet, majoring in Science. He was active in Basketball, Soccer and Softball. Dylan appreciated nature and enjoyed the outdoors. He was very… concerned about protecting the environment and conserving energy. Wisconsin was like a second home to him, and he enjoyed swimming in the waters and visiting the forests of Up North Wisconsin whenever he could, which Dylan said looked like heaven to him. He had a profound love of swimming and would spend as much time as he could in the water. He also loved animals and was an advocate for rescuing them. He had a love for travel and geography and his greatest dream was to travel the world. Dylan will be remembered as a sweet boy with a big heart and big dreams, who was known for his shy, but humorous, laid back and easy going nature, and his willingness to help others and make friends with everybody. Above all, he was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, his memory will be cherished by his sister, Daria Zurawski; his paternal grandmother, Connie Zurawski; his maternal grandfather, George Zushin; his aunts and uncles, Jill (George) D’Amore, Ken Zurawski, Daryl (Jen) Zurawski and Sheila Zurawski; his cousins, Kyle, Chad, Jenna, Cris, Verronica, Megan, Oscar, Matt, AJ, Jon & Kayla, and his multitude of friends.

Dylan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerome Zurawski, and his maternal grandmother, Nancy Zushin.
