Connie Marie Sanchez, 69, of Donora, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 21, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Feb. 28, 1950, to the late Julio “Happy” and Mary “Lucy” Medina Sanchez. She will be reunited with her parents and beloved dog, Brownie. Connie was a graduate of Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and St. Paul TVI, Minnesota. She was a former employee of SPHS-SWPAAA Charleroi. She loved to travel abroad to numerous countries with her good friend Chelle Wineland, cook, bake and was known for her infamous chocolate cake. She will be sadly missed by her caretaker, Rick (Donna) Rodriguez of Donora, many loving cousins and all who knew her. You can always remember her by her smile that would light up a room. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
