Charles Hiney 78, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. He lived in Florida for long time since his graduation from 1959 Class of WPSD.

Charles M. Hiney, 78, Ocala, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019. 

He was born in Tyrone, son of the late Walter M. and Wilda M. (Houser) Hiney. 

Surviving are a sister, Joann E. Dixon and husband, Durbin G., of Roaring Spring; three nephews: Douglas G. Dixon of Lower Burrell, Mark W. Dixon and wife, Becky, of Sterling, Conn., and Scott A. Dixon and fiancee, Jodi Shemansky, of Rosco; two great-nieces: Harleyann Gable and husband, Derick, of Martinsburg, and Marie Rose Dixon, of Lower Burrell; a great-nephew, Marcos H. Dixon and fiancee, Kelsey Gailpeau, of West Warwick, R.I.; and a great-great-nephew, Jameson C. Gable of Martinsburg; also surviving are his partner, Lawrence Reynolds of Ocala, Fla.

Charles was as graduate of the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in 1959 and attended Gallaudet University. He was formerly employed at the Tyrone Daily Herald, Wilson Printing Co., The Washington Post, Commercial Printing Inc., and was owner of H&H Printing and Stationary, which changed to Creative Graphics. He moved to Florida in 1980 and was employed at the Lakeland Press Inc., West Palm Beach, Fla., until retirement. 

Charles was an avid fan of classic and muscle cars of the 1950s and 1960s and was also an NHRA fan. He also enjoyed reading car magazines. 

He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Tyrone.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Charles will be buried at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
