Mabel M. Weaver, 80, of Strongstown, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at home. Her son found her in her home. She had heart attack. Our deepest Sympathy goes to her family.

She was born March 4, 1940, in Strongstown, daughter of the late Irvin and Ruby Stiles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and is survived by sons Dwight (Judy) Weaver and family; and Richard (Nancy) Weaver and family.

Mabel worked as a seamstress at the former Nanty Glo Dress Factory for several years. She attended Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh; left around 1959 and was active with local deaf senior citizens.

Due to public health concerns at this time, services are private. Mabel’s family suggests donation be made in her memory to: Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, 300 Swissvale Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15218, Attn: Steve Farmer-Donations.
