Frances E. (Orange) Overly, age 80, of Penn Township, died on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was born on October 11, 1942 in Greensburg, to the late Mike and Veronica (Schultz) Orange.
Fran worked at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (WPSD) for over 30 years, where she was dedicated to assisting the students in residence as a house mother, working in the cafeteria, and aiding in many other ways.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert. She is survived by her close family and loving caregivers, Paul and Donna Orange; Kellie and Thomas Pedder, and their children Mycal and Katie; and a sister-in-law, Martha Rae Herwitt.
Friends will be received Sunday, August 6 from 2-6 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 7 at 11 AM at St. Mary Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Export.
Entombment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
