Marian L. (Peoples) Altheide Ritchey, age 96 of Oakmont, passed away peacefully on Monday morning June 17, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Florence and Arthur Peoples. Beloved wife of the late Wayne Ritchey and the late Teddy Altheide. Preceded in death by her siblings Lettie (late Gilbert), late Dale (surviving Mary Jo) Peoples, late William “Bill” (surviving Susan) Peoples, and her great-nephew Gerald (surviving Pam) Ferraro. Also survived by nieces and nephews Florence (Steve) Shaw, Blair (Donna) Eiler, Georgie (Fred) Ferraro, Debra (David) Schirm, Cindy (Frank) Metz, Lisa (late Paul) Witkovitz, Kimberly (James) Kristufek, Stacy (Mark) Davanzati, Erin (James) Premick, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Marian was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edgewood. Even though she never had children of her own she will be incredibly missed by all of her surviving family she leaves behind.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday June 20, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.
A funeral service will be held on Friday June 21, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Cheswick.
