Determined to make their first sweep in Alumni history, the Old Lions recruited many good players. The determined Young Lions kept their eyes on the best alumni player, Jacob Gruseck. He played most of the game, however, they managed to stop him, letting him score only 15 points. Alumni Kenneth Lloyd powered himself inside and garnered 14 points, with 10 points coming in the 4th quarter. Jeff DePaolis and David Fulmer added 8 points a piece. For the Younger Lions, Zane Noschese poured in 20 points while Josh Sechman, battling against the older taller men, managed 15 points and Jimmy MacGill garnered 11 points. Jeff Forner, with his two 3-pointers, helped the Younger Lions’ offense by giving them 8 points. The game went right down to the buzzer and was decided by only one point. The final score was 57-56, Alumni! The Alumni succeeded in sweeping both games this year!
