Charles M. Reisinger, Class of 1969 was named Educator of the Year at American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, Connecticut last February.
Charles currently teaches High School level – Algebra 1, Drama, Rules of the Rules and American Government. He has been teaching for 22 yrs now. He also involves with some organizations such as French Exchange Program, Drama Club, Math Bowl, Academic Bowl, Honors Banquet Committee, Monte Scholarship Committee and Jr CAD. He was a member of NAD Board member – Region 1 (2002-2006). He continues to be Connecticut Association of the Deaf member (was Past President, Vice President, Secretary and By-Laws Chair), currently now sits on CAD Conference and Miss Deaf Connecticut Pageant Committees.
He taught math at Model Secondary School for the Deaf, Washington, DC (1980 – 1985).
Charles does enjoys contacting with his class members, Class of 1969 and participates in class reunions.
