Nick Mainos, aged 96 died on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, of Whitehall, formerly of Mt. Oliver.
Beloved husband of the late Clara (Nemec) Mainos; loving father of Judy (Joseph) DePaolis of Aliquippa and Bernice (the late Bucky) Crow of Whitehall; grandfather of Jennifer (Jason) Dize, Joseph DePaolis, Jeffrey (Kelsey) DePaolis and Joy (John) Thomas; 11 great-grandchildren; brother of the late Marie Liss, Michael and John Mainos. Also survived by his niece and nephew.
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, October 26 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in Mary, Queen of Peace Parish, St. Mary of the Mount at 10:00 a.m.
