Janet KayJanet Kay “Katie” Lunn, 45, formerly of Portersville, died Monday at her home at the Terrace Apartments.
Born Aug. 17, 1959, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late David “Bus” and Stella Weidenhof Lunn.
She was thoughtful and caring and enjoyed working at PARC in Butler. She enjoyed her cat.
Miss Lunn attended the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Prospect.
She is survived by five sisters, Marcella Cooper of Arkansas, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Peterson of Portersville, Lucille Lunn of Slippery Rock, Mrs. Robert (Linda) King of Ellwood City and her twin, Mrs. Ted (Janice) Simmon of Penn Township; and three brothers, David and Donna Lunn, George and Barbara Lunn and Bill and Tina Lunn, all of Portersville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

LUNN – Friends of Janet Kay “Katie” Lunn, who died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at EDWARD L RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Nagel, associate pastor of New Life Baptist Church in New Wilmington, officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh.
