Thomas Ralph Inches, age 78, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 peacefully in the Inches family home.

Tom was born January 21, 1946 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania to Doris and Thomas Inches.

Tom graduated from WPSD in 1964 before moving to Michigan with his wife Judi Inches for work, and to begin a new chapter in their lives.

Tom was a loving husband and father to his wife and seven sons. He invested in his family in many ways. Tom coached on the baseball field and guided their local team to a championship, prepared delicious meals, and was a mentor for the woods and water.

Tom also enjoyed attending the Flint Association of the Deaf, hosting cookouts at the Inches home, and Friday fish frys. Tom’s passion for hunting and fishing sent him around the world, as far north as the Arctic Circle. It was in these places Tom felt serenity.

Tom always paid frequent visits to Arizona to visit his sister, Ohio to hunt with his long-time friend, and Pennsylvania to his second property. His kind-hearted and content nature left impacting impressions that touched the lives of many on every adventure Tom traversed.

He is survived by his children Tarryl, Tyrus, Darrin, Tracy, and Troy Inches, as well as his 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Thomas and Tyrone; his wife, Judi; and his sisters, Norma and Gail. Thomas Inches will continue to live on through the adventures of those he’s transformed. Thomas Inches. AMAZING HUNTER. CHAMP FATHER.
